History of Kinder Kart®
Question:
Why did Western Advanced Engineering Company decide
to design and manufacture children‚s
strollers?
Answer:
During several visits to shopping malls, parks and
amusement parks, etc., my wife and I noticed that a
lot of parents were carrying their children thus
pushing an empty stroller. It was apparent to
us, that a new device to transport children was
needed. We decided to investigate this
phenomenon and conduct our own survey. Some
of the questions we asked are as
follows:
Question:Why
are you carrying your child when you have a
stroller with you?
Answer:
From 80% of parents came the answer, „My kid
will not stay in the stroller for more than 10-15
minutes at a time.
Question:
Do you own a car seat? If so, how does you
child like to ride in it?
Answer:
Of course we have a car seat.
The majority of the answers to these questions were
positive that the child liked to ride in the car
seat. There was one lady in particular that I
recall who joyfully said, "We drove all the way to
Phoenix, AZ. (approx. 350 miles) and my son never
fussed about being in the car seat.

What did you find that
was missing in the traditional stroller?
Answer:
In one word, COMFORT. Kinder Kart® was
designed to combine comfort, safety and versatility
into a unique design that is sure to please the
child rider and the parent. Kinder Kart®
was developed with one overriding goal, to enhance
everybody‚s pleasure. In order to
achieve that, we had to satisfy two
considerations. First, how to make the child
comfortable and prevent localized fatigue allowing
the child to remain in the stroller for longer
periods and relieve the parent from becoming
„the ride. Second, it has to be easy to handle
and not feel like the shopping cart at the
supermarket.
Kinder Kart® fulfills all of these concerns and
in addition provides a fun ride for the child and
makes for a happy parent.
Question:
I noticed that the Kinder Kart® does not
collapse or fold up in any way. Why did you
choose this particular design?
Answer:
Safety is the first consideration in choosing the
Kinder Kart® design. Our research uncovered
many concerns regarding collapsible
strollers. Many children are injured during
accidental collapse of the stroller being
used. Kinder Kart® has no mechanism that
can cause accidents, therefore, successfully
eliminating the problem. Simplicity, low
maintenance, and durability were other
considerations. Kinder Kart® is a
polyethylene-molded part. It is not subject
to deterioration or corrosion of any kind.
Kinder Kart® is virtually maintenance
free. The durability of the Kinder Kart®
allows most families to use it for more than one
child. WAECO has received feedback from
owners stating they will be using the stroller for
their grandchildren.
Question:
Since Kinder Kart® does not collapse, how do
you transport it?
Answer:
By choosing safety, child comfort and features
that make using Kinder Kart® fun for everyone,
we had to sacrifice compactness. Kinder Kart®
can easily be transported in today‚s mini van,
pick up, SUV, station wagon, or hatchback
automobile. It will not fit into the trunk of most
economy cars.

What Is a Kinder Kart®?
Answer:
Kinder Kart® was developed to improve
toddler children‚s transportation. Most traditional strollers are designed for
storage compactness. This demands complicated
folding mechanisms that can fail and cause injury
to the child in a case of an accidental collapse or
to the parent by pinching during folding or
unfolding of the stroller. Child comfort and safety
is in most cases completely neglected. We suspect
that is because small children cannot get their
complaints heard. It is however evident in the fact
when small children complain very vocally that they
no longer want to ride the
„Stroller".
A ride without comfort is not very
amusing.
Kinder Kart® was primarily designed to provide
comfort for the child, which results in a happier
child. This allows the child to stay in the Kinder
Kart® for longer periods and allows the parent
to enjoy their indoor or outdoor family
activities.
Question:
Where do I use Kinder Kart®?
Answer:
We designed Kinder Kart® to be used everywhere.
You can use it on unpaved trails, the beach, on
grass, snow, and all surfaces where you would never
take a traditional stroller. It is a great hit at
the amusement parks where children tier easily from
long walks and waits.
